LOOK WHO IS IN THE DOG HOUSE!

NEW KENNELS AT BETA'S LAND

We are so excited to see the next stage of building works happening at the shelter we helped to fund in partnership with Viata animalelor, Romania. With thanks to our wonderful supporters and our very generous Santa Paws, K-9 Angels are able to fund these state of the art individual kennels and runs. Aurelia, with her dedicated team are in the process of building 9 large insulated dog kennels and dog runs, that will house the dogs that need extra time to de-stress, giving them extra space away from other dogs and the security they need to heal. We are so excited to embark on the next stage at Beta's Land. We are not just building a shelter but a sanctuary for the abandoned and homeless. We can't wait to see them with their lucky residents. Thank you for all your support. This is where your money goes, we are saving lives! Together we really do make a difference xxx

WHO LET THE DOGS OUT - AND IN AND OUT!

THE DOG DOORS GO IN!

Very excited to see the new dog doors that were sponsored by generous supporters being installed!
These doors were much needed to prevent the freezing winter winds and driving rain going into the dog houses, allowing the dogs freedom to enter and exit at any time of day or night.
We are so grateful to everyone, including the wonderful helpers who installed these - and of course the doggies who helped (including Monty and Pedro who are now in the UK in their forever adopted homes!

THE VET HOUSE OPENS!

November 2016

In November 2016 the vet facility became functional. The vet facility is so very important as it is on site at Beta's Land shelter, and this was funded totally with support from dog loving people like YOU. It means any injured and ill dogs can be treated straight away in an emergency and it also means our mass Spay and Neuter can continue on site, saving vet and travel costs.

We want to continue to improve this facility and provide on site accommodation so that volunteers can stay and assist with the dogs at the shelter.

Fundraising and public donations mean that we are able to support the spay and neutering of local dogs, those at the shelter and also those on the streets, thus saving countless lives!

VET HOUSE AND SECOND DOG HOUSE BUILDING IS UNDERWAY

K-9 Angels June 2015

We are so excited and delighted to announce that work is well underway to complete not just the vet house with quarantine facilities, but also the second dog house!!!  Building works should be completed by early autumn which will mean we can safely house more dogs saved from Breasta public shelter and also have faciliies to quarantine those that have contracted distemper and parvo whilst there, and give them a fighting chance of survival.

The houses will be state of the art with electricity, drainage, tiled floors for easy cleaning and are insulated, meaning the dogs are kept cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Each room has a separate outside area. Not only that, the shelters are built on acres of land where the dogs can safely roam and stretch their legs. This really is a sanctuary and safe haven where the dogs can start to build their confidence and trust in humans again, whilst waiting for their forever home.

None of this would be possible without our generous supporters, we thank you so much. Due to PayPal fees etc., we are just short of the funds needed, and need to raise £924 to complete the project. Please donate to help us to provide a safe shelter and sanctuary for the dogs. Thank you so much for your continued support, our dreams are being made a reality

Together we really do make a difference, thank you <3

Our Christmas Shelter Appeal

K-9 Angels December 2014

Below is a video of our visit to Breasta Public Shelter in November 2014.  It is the stark reality of the conditions the dogs are kept in in these public shelters.  We will say no more.  The video speaks for itself ....

BUILDING THE FIRST DOG HOUSE AT THE SHELTER

K-9 Angels June 2014

Work on the shelter project to build the dog accommodation houses continues swiftly and with much enthusiasm ! We strive to set the standard for dog shelters in Romania, shelters built to a high standard, that keep dogs warm in the harsh winter, cool in the blistering summers, healthy, well fed and rehabilitated and ready for a life in the UK.

Thanks to our many generous supporters the funding is in place to complete the accommodation houses, this is where your hard earned money goes, directly to helping the dogs ! However we still need to raise funds for Phase Two of the project, the veterinary house. This crucial part of the project will include a building which accomodates a treatment room and very importantly quarantine area for sick dogs. WE DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT FUNDS TO BUILD THIS HOUSE YET AND SO WE APPEAL AGAIN FOR YOUR MUCH NEEDED HELP.

We would also like to show our gratitude for everyone that has donated aid for the shelter, without this the houses would be just empty buildings.
